| Messals overseas provides high function and innovative leakage clamp meters [model 2432] manufactured by kyoritsu electrical instruments works ltd, japan. The product range of these clamp meters include three ac current ranges, viz 4 ma, 40 ma and 100 a. They are lightweight and suitable for conductors having size up to 40 mm. A high quality material, known as permalloy [iron + nickel], is used for manufacturing transformer clamp jaws and also used as shielding material. Therefore, the accuracy of the clamp meters is very good as well as shielding is magnificent against stray magnetic fields.These leakage clam meters have highly sensitive transformer jaws which permits ac current measurement in the order of milliamps. These instruments can measure not only earth leakage current, but also leakage current flowing in live conductors of single and three-phase systems by directly clamping them together. The most favorable feature of these meters is that they have a frequency selector switch to check for the harmonic content of the current under test. The leakage clamp meters are designed to meet international safety standards of iec and cat. The instruments automatically turn off about 10 minutes after the last switch or button operation. This auto power off function prevents the instruments from being left powered on and conserves battery power.
