| Rigid pvc pipe extrusion units are offered manufactured by malik engineers. Are used for producting pipes for water supply, irrigation and electrical conduits. Some of the constructional features of these units include:the full machine includes 1]one single screw extruder fitted with die foe pvc pipe, vacuum tank, water tank, caterpillar take-off, motorised cutting device and separate control panel for complete machine. 2]the extruder is fitted with nitride and hard-chrome plated screw and barrel set, dc main drive, gear box, pulleys, heaters, die, etc. 3]in operation, the pvc dry blend compound is fed into the extruder, where it is heated, melted and forced out of the annular die in the form of hot hollow pipe which . This passes through vacuum sizing chamber for proper size as per od of pipe desired, and through the water tank where the pipe is cooled. 4]the pipe thus produced is passed through caterpillar unit which maintains the pipe straight as it passes through are cut. 5]the control panel is fitted with controls for the dc motors of extruder, caterpilar and precision electronic solid-state controllers for accurate control of the process temperature and safety devices. These pipe extrusion units find their applications in producting pipes for water supply, irrigation and electrical conduits.
