| Malik engineers manufactures msk series dispersion kneader suitable for mastication and compounding of rubber type and plastic materials. The kneader consists of specially designed chamber provided with pneumatically controlled pressure lid, which maintains the pressure on ingredients while mixing. The chamber is jacketed from outside to permit circulation of thermic fluid for heating/cooling. Two specially designed counter-rotating rotors are provided to mix the materials properly. The rotors run at differential speeds to provide the necessary friction required for proper mixing of polymer and additives. The rotors are driven through heavy-duty helical type reducer and ac motor through v-belts and pulleys. The compound after mixing can be easily discharged by tilting the chamber automatically trough separate gear drive and electric control. The chamber interior and edges of rotors are stellited [hard-faced and duly hard-chrome plated for long life. The unit is offered in batch sixes of 10, 35, 55 litre [chamber volume] with corresponding input powers of 20, 40 and 70 hp.
