| Prashtech provides live centres wherein one can easily replace worn-out bullet [centre-tip] in less than five minutes and continue machining operations immediately without any downtime of lathes, nc-cnc turning centres, etc. For replacement, aspecial allen key is provided x. Following are some of the technical features of this live centers which include: by clamping bullet in vice or chuck and inserting the allen key through the shank of the live centre, worn-out bullet can be unscrewed and removed;spare one is provided with the live centre. During the replacement, the bearing arrangement is not disturbed. Prashtech live centre uses three bearings with wear compensation mechanism; coolant entry is prevented by the oil seal and hence protects the bearings forever; for permanent lubrication speciality grease is used which ensures excellent performance with controlled run-out under severe conditions of load, speed and dirt. Besides this, bullets with various shapes can be used as spares with the same live centre, viz, standiwd tip, copying tip, pipe centre, female centre, etc. Prashtech live centres are designed in morse tapers mt3, mt4, mt5, and mt6. Their load tests, accuracies, materials, and hardness are in accordance with is 3793:1966.
