The Conventional Mandrels for gas lift valves have two-fold function: first, they provide a convenient fitting on which to install a gas lift valve as an integral part of a tubing string, and second these help pass the gas through the valves in the proper direction. All Conventional Mandrels are constructed to perform these functions with maximum reliability. After the machining and welding operations are completed, all mandrels are pressure tested and checked for alignment and drift I.D. The Conventional Mandrels is available in internal, external or complete plastic coating for protection from corrosion or paraffin accumulation.
