| Eclipse medium velocity tempered air [series mvta-pca] burners are nozzle mixing gas burners for use with preheated combustion air. The furnace circulation induced by this stream promotes temperature uniformity, product quality and system efficiency. These burners are designed for use in recuperative systems where furnace flue gas is used for preheating combustion air. They are available in heat resistant bodies and ss internals for operation with preheated combustion air temperatures to 510°c. Higher sizes are available with air-cooled alloy internals and body lined with insulating refractory for operation with preheated combustion air temperatures up to 816oc. It can take preheated air up to 800°c depending on model. High excess air capability provides the benefits of velocity over a wide turndown range. It has exceptional flame stability, variety of ignition and flame monitoring options. Ignition can be by a blast type or spark ignited bypass pilot. Flame monitoring can be through flame rod or uv scanner.
