| Ppi supplies a 100% indigenous, micro-controller based, user-friendly, self tuned pid temperature controller, lc-40. Pid is a true industrial grade process controller packed with highly sophisticated software features to produce optimum control performance at extremely low price. Its salient features include self tuned pid algorithm, 2 ramp + 2 soak profile, auto/manual mode, 3 level software locking to prevent unauthorized data entries, non volatile memory [no batteries required], dual digital display for optimum process information, membrane keypad for programming and one auxiliary alarm set point. It allows input from a wide range of thermocouples, pt-100 sensor or linear current/voltage signal from transducers. The use of high resolution adc, software linearisation for temperature sensors, automatic cold junction compensation for thermocouple input and lead resistance compensation for rtd input, ensures a high degree of calibration accuracy in pid. The self-tuned algorithm automatically calculates the p, i, d terms and removes much of tiresome procedure of manually setting control parameters. An electromagnetic relay changeover contacts or 12 v dc pulses are provided at the output for time proportionate pid control. It operates on 230 v ac supply voltage and is housed in an attractive abs moulded enclosure of dimensions 96 [h] x 96 [w] x 150 [d] mm, and panel cutout 92 x 92 mm.
