Oil of certain viscosity when injected under high pressures between two mating surfaces having interference fit causes the surfaces to be separated. Normally, the provision for such oil injection is made by the way of ducts and grooves at the design stage. Inventum engineers were the pioneers in developing oil injection equipment. This new oil injection model is so designed to build hydraulic pressure up to 3000 kg/cm² [44,000 p.S.I.]. This equipment along with the accessories has been very much popularly used by the workshops of indian railways for dismounting of traction motor pinions and sleeve mountings bearings.
