| Mecshot blasting equipments has manufactured and distributed vapour honing machines for two wheeler automotives achieving surface finish of 0.8 to 3.0 ra in microns on crank pins of at both sides/end portions of length 10.5 mm with middle portion masked to avoid medias entering lubricating hole. The machine functions on suction-induction principle of abrasive blasting.The fine particles of abrasive are suspended in liquid usually water and then pumped into the nozzle as a slurry and is introduced into air stream and propelled against job. The equipment consists of zinc metallized wet blasting cabinet to prevent rusting, blasting nozzle with glandless pump for slurry feeding, mist collector and necessary controls. Vapour honing machine for crank pin of two wheeler automobiles are provided with indexing type rotary turntable with rotating satellites blasting guns are provided. A glandless slurry pump is used to feed the slurry at positive pressure into the blast chamber where the satellite starts rotating at blast station. Blast guns are fixed at a station as the job rotates which clean the outer periphery of crank pin the operator simply loads and unloads the job from satellite. The mist generate during blasting operation is sucked in a mist collector keeping the vision clear.
