| Mac marketing corpn in collaboration with oiles corpn of japan introduces low cost self-lubricating bushes with polyacetal resin base bearing material. It is specially processed and contains lubricating oil, which is uniformly distributed over the entire body. Self-lubricating bushes have been manufactured to apply in high load and low speed operations. These bushes possess the following features: self-lubrication; maintain a low friction coefficient at high load, slow speed operations with excellent wear resistance; operate under a wide temperature range, from -200°c +250°c; satisfactory performance in rotating, oscillating and axial sliding motions. They also provide excellent dimensional stability, mechanical strength and thermal conductivity. Thin-walled and lightweight construction of the bushes caters to compact design; and, can be used for relatively high-speed operations with lubricating oil. The self-lubricating bushes are extensively used : where conductivity is required to prevent static charges; where a dry operation is desirable; under high load and low speed operations, reciprocating operations and alternating operations, where it is difficult to form oil film; and where compact design is needed.
