| Deepak drives suppliesoffers variable speed pulley. This variable speed pulley is with diaphragm spring. The heart of this variable speed pulley is versatile serration design all over the circumference of the hub instead of conventional key locking. Therefore , hence a large surface area for torque transmission and equal contact of the profile faces for very smooth running. The discs of the pulleys are composed of made out of aluminium alloy with a special coating which that guarantees very high resistance to abrasion. This light weight pulley has added advantages of power saving, less load on serrations hence more life and low moment of inertia, which are important criteria for reversal or high switching frequency application. Specially designed diaphragm spring is used. These springs are composed of made from top quality steel. This quality steel is specially made specially produced for the purpose. Their design ensures that an ideal pressure is exerted throughout the speed range and at all positions of pulley discs. The strength and uniformity of these springs also ensure adequate contact between the pulley and wedge surfaces of the wide v-belt at all diameters. It also ensures and that the belt will transmit the required power without slip. Both halves of the expanding pulley move equally and in opposite directions and there is no misalignment of the v-belt. The undue wear on belt and bearings through twist or distortion is thus avoided. All variable speed pulleys are dynamically balanced pre-bored and keyway to suit motor shafts.
