Esab has introduced a complete range of flux-cored wires. These are suitable for different industrial sectors like automobiles, railways, oem units and heavy and medium fabrication units. The product range includes basic and rutile flux cored wires for welding of mild steels, carbon steels, low alloy steels, corten steels, high strength low alloy steels, nickel steels and stainless steels. These wires are recommended for use with a mixture of argon and co2 as a shielding gas. Special features of these wires are as follows:
- very high deposition rate;
- all positional welding;
- smooth high operating current characteristics;
- very low spatter; excellent bead finish with easy slag detachment;
- suitable for multi-pass welding; and
- uniform spray-type transfer with more consistent level of mechanical properties.
