| Photo controls [1] offers new compact version of electronic safety guard for operator safety on pneumatic, by draulic power presses, shears, press brakes, etc. This model has been developed out of expertise over the years. The unit consists of transmitting and receiving elements consisting of number of modules depending on height of the curtain required. The modular design of sensor reduces wiring and makes it more reliable. The new feature of "on screen" indication makes it user friendly and simplifying the function. The "on screen" bye-pass facility makes it more application oriented. The control unit comes in a compact 96 x 96 panel cut out size. The helps user in easy installation and vibration proof unit. The new control unit has smps based power supply design, which makes it more powerful to take power fluctuations and elimination passive heat generating devices like transformer. It has buit-in protection for short circuit and over voltage. The control unit`s additional facility of lock-n-key by-pass facility and power "on" illuminated switch test facility and power "on" delay, etc., features to make unit more user friendly. The sensor works on modulated infrared beam principle and has unique feature of multiple scanning which mades it immune to fluctuations and self-diagnostic.
