| I&j fisnar inc manufactures self teach, digital, automatic timed shot dispenser, model dd-305, which is offered by sumitron marketing. . This is useful for fibre optic assembly and repair, which will effectively deliver a consistent and precise deposit of adhesive every time. The system uses controlled air pressurethat is pulsed by a digital programmable timer to deliver an accurate shot of material contained in a barrel [syringe] and dispensed through a precision needle. The dispenser takes up little bench space and simply requires a standard electrical outlet and compressed air supply. Now, the system can refine the fibre optic cable and fibre optic connector assembly using the self teach mode. By depressing a foot pedal, material will be dispensed and the time recorded when the exact amount of material is achieved. It is possible to recall six dispenser programs from the system memory for different connectors, each applying a different timed cycle for each connector. The system has non-volatile memory.
