| Deublin of usa manufactures rotating unions for a wide range of services such as air, water, steam, hot oil, hydraulic, vacuum and coolant. The company supplies a special range of unions to meet specific needs in the steel industry. These rotating unions supply water for internal cooling of rolls, which enhance the roll life and reduce the temperature of slab resulting in better quality of steel. To cope with the abrasive environments of steel industry, these unions are outfitted with wear resistant silicon carbide seals, and stainless steel seal carriers that protect the seals from unmanageable processes such as water hammering. They have also long sleeved carbon graphite bearing and a balanced sealing design. The water service unions supply water to cool the rolls at the time of reheating of steel in annealing and heat-treating furnaces. Thus, when steel is converted into coils and rolled, double passage hydraulic service unions supply hydraulic fluid to expand the mandrels, which grip and wind steel into coils.
