| A range of rotating unions to meet specific needs of the aluminium industry has been offered by deublin co, usa. . These rotating unions supply water to cool the straightener and pinch rolls in the continuous casting machines water service. Large capacity water service unions can be used to cool the bearings in caster rolls. At the furnace or oven where annealing happens, similar unions are applied for water service of rolls. In case of recoilers and downcoilers low speed hydraulic service unions can be used to activate the mandrels and expanding shafts. The water service rotating unions are very helpful for aluminium foil mills and rotary ingot moulding machines.
