Tempsens instruments offers fk series prts. These are robust and designed for large volume application where long term stability, inter-changeability and accuracy over a large temperature range are vital.
These thin-film rtd elements are of two types: type fk [-70ºc to 500ºc] and type fr [-70ºc to 500ºc].
A smaller dimension is also available and a high electrical insulation is guaranteed by non-conductive edges and sides. These elements are used in the automobile industry, domestic appliances, installation on pcbs, equipment and machinery, surface measurement, air conditioning, heating installation and control of primary parameters via temperature effects.
Specifications: din en 60751 [according to iec 751]; temperature coefficient - tc = 3850 ppm/k, [3750 ppm/k available on request]; terminal lead - platinum clad nickel wire; stability - maximum ro-drift 0,04% after 1000h at 500ºc; vibration resistance - at least 40 g acceleration at 10 to 2000 hz; shock resistance - at least 100 g acceleration with 8ms half sine wave; environmental conditions - unhoused for dry environments only; insulation resistance - >10 mo at 20ºc, > 1 mo at 500ºc; self heating- 0.5 k/m w at 0ºc; and measuring current: 100 o : 0,3 to 1, 0 ma, 500 o : 0,3 ma, 1000 o : 0,1 to 0, 3 ma.
