Bright burnishing offers carbide single roller burnishing tool. It is capable of burnishing any diameter exceeding 35 mm to infinity and brings about super finishing operation. The tool is used in vertical turret lathe, cnc turning centers and any conventional machining centres. These tools have following features:
- single tool can operate any surface id, od, taper and radius improved surface hardness carbide rollers with high quality super finish fitted with quality bearings reduce wear and tear.
- speed and feed rates achieved based on machining facility, component size and material.
- coolant used for machining the component can be utilised for burnishing operation.
- no capital investment is required for super finishing operation
- economical way to get super surface finish from 0.05 to 0.3 ra value.
