• Add to Inquiry Basket | Apple rubber industries offers wide range of rubber expansion joints / bellows for industrial application in chemical, hydro power plant, process refineries, extraction plants, heavy engineering industries, cement plant, petrochemical, ship building etc. These expansion joints are available in different types of rubber application like silicone -viton, nitrile, neoprene, epdm, natural etc.
Advantages:
Apple rubber industries process ready dies of expansion rubber bellows size ½ inches to 60 inches.
These flexible joints can be customized to any required sizes, places with flanges/without flanges, with cotton canvas, nylon ply in any rubber component as per the required parameters.
As per clients requirements multi arch joints are also available [length upto 15 mtrs].
Application: these bellows are used to absorb vibration, passing liquid, ppted, chemicals, salts, corrosive alkaline chemicals, corrosive gases, acids, medical grade liquid, industrial liquids and many other application.
Type of expansion joints:
Standard - single arch for use where initial misalignment of two pipes to be connected does not exceed 1.8", but not where flanges are out of parallel. Available for pressure or vacuum. Arch can be filled, however, movement limitations are reduced 50%.
Multiple arch - standard joint with 2 or 3 arches. Recommended for greater movement where face to face dimensions are not limited. Suitable for pressure or vacuum applications with flanges or sleeve ends.
Light weight - recommended for handling air, liquid, gases and fumes at 7.5 [ 15"vacuum absolute ] to 15 psi. Available with multiple arches, filled arches and sleeves ends.
Retaining rings - use of split-steel rings assure a pressure-tight seal. Outside diameter is same as standard flange and contains the same number of bolt holes. Those used on joint sizes upto 40" are two-piece [ 4 segments per joint ]. Four-piece rings [ 8 segments per joint ] are used on all larger sizes. All are generally 3.8" thick.
