• Add to Inquiry Basket | Renuka tools manufactures round shank fine boring unit. It comes with adjustment spindle rigidly secured at the rear of the cartridge housing between two thrust bearings to eliminate all axial and radial paly. This round shank fine boring unit is provided with fine micrometer threads into which the threaded shoulder of the tool is screwed. An adjustable bearing in the rear part of the housing with to keys on the shaft prevents the tool from twisting giving it a support. The unit is clamped tightly close to cutting edge with a split collet accessible from the front of the housing and thus it reduces force resistance and makes adjustments sensitive as well as accurate. Forward and backward adjustment of the tools is controlled by turning the setting spindle. This round shank fine boring unit carries salient features like maximum accuracy, anti backlash design, easy mounting [only requirement is close tolerance bore and tapped hole for clamping], minimum weakening of the boring bar due to small dimensions of the cartridge, these unit are applicable in external turning on automats, turret lathes and special machines. |
