| Tal manufacturing solutions, pune, manufactures the high-speed vertical machining centre. It is useful for cost-effective machining of small ferrous and non-ferrous jobs in medium size batches. The spindle is made of case hardening steel heat treated for high strength and long life. The vertical machining centre is capable of running at high speeds and accommodates tools of small sizes. The spindle bearings are grease packed. Oil feed lubrication can also be provided if required. Coolant through spindle can be provided for special tooling applications. Machine structures such as column, base, saddle, housings, etc, are made of thermally stable cast iron castings or welded steel fabrications. These structures are designed and evaluated using cad techniques for optimum performance. All such structures of the vertical machining centre are double stress relieved during the machining cycle to ensure dimensional stability over the life of the machine. All guide ways are provided with pre-loaded roller or ball bearings [lm guide ways]. The axis drive motors of the vertical machining centre are selected to give the best acceleration and response time. The rapid traverse rates and positional accuracies are consistently maintained.
