Vijay pumps offers coolant pump for heavy engines. These coolant pumps are dynamic pumps which are suitable for direct and indirect drives by variable or fixed speed prime-movers. Basic design this coolant pump essentially consists of impeller supported in two ball bearings and the body and the . The shaft seal seals the drive shaft. Bearings are designed for b10 life. The pump body of the coolant pump is made up of light-weight aluminium alloy casting. And tthe impeller is made up of bronze alloy casting. One of the outstanding performance characteristics of this pump is iits ableility to operate with a closed discharge valve which is one of the outstanding performance characteristics of this coolant pump. When it is operated on the constant speed operating in this manner at constant speed, tthe pressure builds up to a definite figure known as the shutoff pressure and does not exceed this figure. Applications of the coolant pump include:
- this pump can be used as a coolant pump for medium and heavy duty engines used in earthmoving equipments such as bulldozers, hydraulic excavator, mining shovels, dumpers, wheel loaders, heavy duty high power track laying vehicles for military applications.
