Keetronics has developed capacitive keyboard for uses in human interface devices like control panels, appliances and gaming devices. This capacitive keyboard comes with a `simple` touch electrode inserted in it, which is operated by emitting a pulsed electric field through a control panel from behind. This electrode in the capacitive keyboard is capacitated by a touch of a finger on the panel to increase 0.5 pf to 5pf by extra coupling of human body to surrounding environment.
