• Add to Inquiry Basket | Fenesta building systems [fbs], a division of dcm shriram consolidated ltd [dscl], has for the first time in india unveiled a new range of monsoon-proof and wind resistant windows. These products are used for high rise buildings and extreme weather conditions. Using in-house expertise, the new state-of-the-art fenesta range is designed and developed by fbs purely in india. It is not only the first of its kind in india but perhaps in the world. To bring both comfort and ambience to the home dwellers in the country, the new range is expected. Owners of farm houses and bungalows will have access to a tredy product that comes in a variety of contemporary designs with larger window sizes that provide wider, unrestricted views. Some significant features of this new system include: high-rise, condominium dwellers as it effectively counters high-pressure winds and rains, considerably enhancing the safety and comfort of their houses. These windows have been precision engineered to counter wind loads up to 3000 pa [249 km/h] and to withstand heavy rains. By a special "hurricane bar" to resist heavy winds and a "rain track" that drains rainwater outside thereby effectively preventing it from seeping indoors, this new system is made unique. Latest styles like slider-casement combinations and tilt & turn windows are provided by the new range which is in addition to the design options of sliders, casements, bays, arches and french doors in the existing range. |
