Sivananda provides an impedance meter for measurement of characteristic impedance of cables. It can also measure the impedance of component like capacitors, inductors and resistors. This instrument conforms to international standards. Some of the salient features include: high gain and flat response amplifier; internal cal facility is provided to check the calibration of the instruments; digital readout of impedance value; and suitable for twisted paired, coaxial and jelly filled cables. Three different models are available with different test frequency such as: mk-i: 800 hz and 5 khz with facility for use with external oscillator [500 hz to 20 khz]; mk-ii: 1 mhz; and mk-iv: 1 mhz, 520 khz and 120 khz.
