| Banner [usa] has developed camera-based advanced inspection system for capturing, processing, and comparing the image of a defined area. This is claimed to be a highly precise judgment system by converting the image in black and white pixels. Basic components comprise of light source for illuminating the target, sensor, lens for focusing the light and programmer pc. Some of the applications are inspection of missing broken tablet in blister pack in parma industries; missing/ incorrect label detection; date/lot code, stamped logo inspection; grease presence, plating inspection in automobile industry; and orientation check and infinite typical applications. The system accommodates both transnational and rotational variation. System is self-learning and easy to operate with both basic and advanced option. The system is fully tested and accepted all over the world as a simple, cost effective and user-friendly inspection system. Sierra instrumentation and controls has installed such system in pharma, automobile and factory automation areas as inspection tool.
