| Phoenix contact manufactures latest quick fsma polymer fiber plug connector for fiber optic connection which can be rapidly and simply assembled. The fiber type 980/1000[m] conductor can be pushed under light pressure about 20 mm through plug connector, cut off flush using special ibs rl foc polymer fiber cutter and screwed firmly onto standard fsma light diode in accordance with iec 874 2. The input alternation of the plug connector after installation is approximately 2 db with 40 n maximum strain relief. The polymer fiber of these plug connectors is cut through smoothly using the cutter with result that optical transmission quality is maintained for up to 50m distances. The radii of curvature needed for trouble free signal transmission through the plug connector for simple fiber optic connection is maintained an anti fold nozzle.
