• Add to Inquiry Basket | The new lightning current arresters [flashtrab flt plus-ctrl] from phoenix contact gmbh with arc-chopping spark gap and additional ignition electronics limits surge voltages reliably to a maximum of 1.5 kv. The advantage of this technology is that line follow current which is especially important for systems with low connection values or with small input fuses.By tthis way, even surge voltages rich in energy in a protection device are limited to the protection level required for subsidiary distributors and circuit cables. Due to accordingly high danger potentials, pprotection concepts , which require the use of lightning current arresters due to accordingly high danger potentials, can be designed in two protection levels instead of in three protection levels so far the traditional second protection level middle protection is dropped. At the same timne, the new protection device autonomously quenches line follow currents, even in power supply networks with very high short-circuit power.
