• Add to Inquiry Basket | The simplex pressure jet burner is a composite unit comprising a combustion head, electrically operated air damper and forced draught fan. The electric ignition and flame monitoring equipment comes prewired to a junction box. The oil pump comes with integral pipework and an oil pre-heater when necessary. For higher capacity boilers, our split-stream burners have a composite unit including an electrically operated air damper.
a butterfly damper is mounted immediately at the outlet of the fan. It controls the amount of air supply. The opening of this damper is controlled by the modulating motor and the cam assembly. The primary air flow is partly used for fuel atomization and also for initiating the aerodynamic flow pattern necessary for flame stability. Air director plates are fitted on the burner lance within the windbox assembly. The secondary air flow, which represents the bulk of the total air requirement, is used for flames shaping, fuel atomization and reinforcing flame front stability patterns. A modulating motor mounted below the connection box, serves to operate not only the butterfly air damper, by means of a cam and linkage arrangement, but also the oil pump spill pressure control valve.
a photocell is fitted to the burner carrier plate. This detector monitors the main flame.
