Rotary vane level switches from switzer instrument are one more addition to the vast range of level switches offered by 1e company, and are best suited for bulk materials. Rotating vane driven by a most reliable synchronous motor ensuring a very smooth continuous rotation until an approaching level of solids to the desired value stops it. When the level of the solid raises and obstructs the vane, rotation of vane stops and a changeover occurs in the instrument quality snap-acting micro switch. The motor also stops rotation and starts again when the level recedes and vane is free to rotate. Some f the technical specifications include: vane and wetted parts i 88304 [standard] and ss316 [optional]; connection screwed s8p [m] or flanged 2" ansi 150 ff; power supply of 230 ac, 50 hz; rotary speed 1 rpm; torque ranging from 0.5 i 1 kg/cm; process temperature maximum 60°c [inside tank]; electrical entry 3/4" et std, 1/2" npt optional; and weight 3.6 j [screwed type], 3.8 kg [flanged type].
