| Swiss machine tools offers centreless burnishing machine which are applicable to superfinish shafts with 3 to 45 mm in steps outer diameter. The machines come equipped with plc control and with ac variable drive. These centreless burnishing machine are ideal to be used in burnishing following applications such as pump/motor shafts, ceiling/table fan shafts as well car window balancer shafts, engine valves, etc. The machine is available with 1 to 4 microns maximum deformation and 0.02 to 0.04 ra micron surface roughness, surface hardness is increased by 60 to 100% in core depth of 20 microns and increases life of shaft. Important parameter ovality is improved after burnishing the machine is centreless so no limitation of component length and even hardened components up to 60 hrc can be burnished by carbide rollers. The company also manufactures roller burnishing tools and lapping machines.
