| Skytone electrical [india] is one of the pioneer manufacturers in india of indigenous electrical wires and cables of varied range, both in copper and aluminium. The company`s products include lt pvc insulated power and control cable, ht pvc insulated power cable, house wiring and industrial cables, insulated mining cables, pvc insulated auto cables, lift cables, pvc insulating winding wires, signalling cables, instrumentation cables and so on. These wires have high oxygen and temperature index which restricts the spread of fire. The company also offers pvc insulated cables - a house wiring range for specialised applications. The most basic of this range are the fire retardant [fr] wires, which have high oxygen and temperature index that helps in restricting the spread fire. Fire retardant low smoke[frls] wires, apart from having high oxygen and temperature index, do not generate high quantities of smoke and toxic gases, and are ideal for use in places of high human density. Next in line are the heat resistant [105ºc] wires, which besides being fire retardant have properties to withstand the excess heat generated in the wire due to low voltage. These wires can withstand the conductor temperature up to 105ºc and are suited for areas where there are wide voltage fluctuations. The company also offers zero halogen flame retardant [`o`hfr] wires that emit non-toxic, non-corrosive gases in case of fire.
