• Add to Inquiry Basket | Ecodry, the new range of dehumidifying rotors from desiccant rotors international [dri] offers simple, cost effective and eco-friendly solutions to independent and precise requirements for both low humidity and/or high ventilation needs.
Ecodry desiccant rotors not only have a large contact surface area between the desiccant on the substrate and the air passing through it [the matrix], but also the desiccant synthesized inside has an exceptionally large internal pore surface area.
Ecodry dehumidifying rotors are highly articulated to provide a smooth and laminar flow to the traversing air streams. They are lightweight, and owing to a very low substrate to desiccant ratio, transport minimal reactivation heat carry-over to the dehumidification [process] air stream. Being extremely compact, they help in designing smaller footprints for dehumidification equipment.
Advantages of ecodry rotors
All ecodry g3 series, rotors allow for a very high water uptake over a vast range of inlet conditions.
The g3 series rotors employ desiccants that do not overload even when exposed to 100% saturated air or liquid water.
The rotors are maintenance free and there is no deliquescence, and hence no special storage needs.
Rotors can simply be cleaned on blowing or even washed with water.
The rotors are composed of stable, chemically inert inorganic material and offer excellent resistance to most chemicals.
Mechanical strength of these rotors is fairly high and can withstand mechanical shocks and vibration strains during manufacturing or, transportation.
