| Dilip lathes offered by new dilip industries are robustly designed and suitable for mass/batch production. They combine all the features expected in heavy-duty production lathe with great efficiency and are ideal for all sliding, surfacing and screw-cutting operations. The various technical features available are: hardened and ground bed ways; maximum swing over the bed - 495 mm; maximum swing in the gap - 810 mm; maximum swing over cross slide -290 mm; admit between centres available are 500 mm, 1000 mm, 1600 mm, 1915 mm, 2525 mm and 3135 mm; width of gap in front of face plate - 190 mm; and maximum facing diameter - 500 mm. The main spindle is threaded nose type 75 mm dia x 8 tpi, with mt-4 type spindle sleeve bore. The sturdy tailstock has mt-4 type quill bore having a quill travel of approximately 158 mm. This lathes have a very wide variety of attachments and could also be supplied with taper burning attachment, rear tool post with long cross slide, norton gearbox; reversing arrangements for main spindle and hydraulic copying attachments.
