| Different woven and non-woven fabrics are available and the on of the fabric to be used is done on various factors with two objectives, viz, quality of filtrate produced and flow rate, are mainly four mechanisms under which the filtration s takes place: surface straining, depth straining, depth and cake filtration. N k filter fabrics group considers im selection criteria: plate and frame or recess type filter centrifuge machines; sparkler filters; star filters; leaf filters; le and agitated nutsche filters; rotary drum vacuum/pressure straining bags; candle filters or wound filters. Fabric weave is [plain, twill, satin, etc] are decided based on the data given user. Post weaving treatments such as heat setting, ring, special coatings for water repellency and polymeric j, etc, are also decided depending on the applications, compatibility chart is referred for thermal chemical and strength l. For liquid separation in industries such chemical, bulk drugs, etc, filter press, centrifuge, pressure leaf are used for which n k filter make filter press sheets, centirfuge bags, etc, in woven and non-woven cloth and paper.
