| The hes510 is the latest evolution of nakanishi inc`s ultra-precision, high-speed, direct drive motor/spindles. The hes510 system incorporates a state-of-the-art 3-phase, brushless dc motor and microprocessor based control unit; the system is capable of up to 50,000 rpm and 250 w output. Simple, reliable compressed air is used for motor cooling and spindle protection making the hes510 very easy to install on any machine in just a few minutes. State-of-the-art design, engineering and many years of expertise in high speed and micro machining have been combined to deliver a product that offers unparalleled capabilities. Very smooth rotation and extremely high spindle accuracy allows ø2.0 mm or smaller tools to be used at very high feed rates. One of the greatest challenges facing all manufacturers is the need to constantly reduce cycle times and delivery schedules. The use of small diameter tools at very high feed rates makes it possible to machine very hard materials and very difficult features that previously could only be accomplished with edm. Another challenge is how to increase capabilities and take advantage of the major benefits of high speed machining without purchasing a new and very expensive machining center. Nakanishi hes510 system offers the perfect solution, an inexpensive, high speed, high rigidity, low vibration, ultra precision motor/spindle that can be installed directly into the machining center`s main spindle. The ability to interchange the high speed spindle with taper tool holders allows users to enjoy the advantages of low speed, high power machining with the machine`s main spindle and high speed, extremely accurate machining with the hes510 series is available in bt30/40/50, nt30/40/50/30m/40m/50m, cat40/50, it40/50 and hsk a63/a 100 tapers.
