Tachogenerator is equipped with 48 poles which help to provide high frequency and thereby ensuring good dynamic response, linearity and wide speed control. Tachogenerator comes with following standard features:

• Rotor and stator assemblies are totally encased to prevent moistures, dust etc.

• Cast iron housing of stator assembly

• Grease filled, double shielded ball bearings are used

• Two mounting options-foot mounted and flange mounted.

• Speedometer can be calibrated

• Compact and rugged construction

• Tg can be supplied with rectifier unit, for dc operations.
