| Pepperl +fuchs manufactures high temperature identification solution up to 500ºc for automotive paint shops. The identification systems comprises of latest id system for tracking vehicle bodies passing through ovens at up to 500ºc. This is a difficult task especially if a complication of paint overspray or just general muck and grime are added. The system uses a ccd to capture a pattern of holes cut into a stainless steel code plate optically to withstand harshest environments. The code patterns are such that there is redundancy built into the code and the method of capture is not dependent on the holes being a perfect size. This high temperature identification system is a robust system and is useful in drying processes at bmw in germany and is available with a tough reader made of steel with mineral crystal lens. The opto high temperature identification system, in short oit system offers camera and illumination in one housing with features like 1.5mts scanning range, simple installation and commissioning without adjustment, interface to ethernet networks and mental housing with quick disconnect solution.
