Pavan industries supplies 2 w ten-turns wire-wound potentiometers [model 2010] using their own technology and indigenous equipment. Specification of these ten-turns potentiometers includes that they have 22.5 mm round and 20 mm long higher grade industrial thermoplastic housing. 9.5 mm dia x 32 tpi threading brass nickel-plated bush. Actuating spindle is 6.3 mm dia centreless ground, burnished non-magnetic stainless steel in various lengths. The resistance range is 100 ohms to 20 kohms in tolerances of 3 or 5 per cent. Linearity is offered at 0.5 per cent standard or 0.25 per cent special. The speciality of the products is pcb mounting capability. All the raw materials are carefully selected and processed. Low resolution results in application where the finer and stable adjustments are required. Major applications are in temperature controller, ac/dc motor drives, power supplies, etc.
