| New multifab engineers supplies vacuum dryers for solids. These vacuum dryers are of agitated type. Range of available vacuum dryers: there are three types of dryers, each having its own merits. Rotocone dryers are effective for free flowing powders, while horizontal agitated dryers and vertical pan dryers are for cakes, slurries and course powders. Specifications of vacuum dryers: materials used in construction are carbon steel, stainless steel, hastelloy, etc. Complete drying system including solvent recovery is provided. 30 rotocone dryers with capacities ranging from 150 litres to 3000 litres have been supplied for drying different products ranging from heavy chemicals to bulk drugs and around 40 horizontal agitated dryers having capacities up to 600 litres have been supplied. Several innovations like lump breaker, etc, have been introduced. The main advantages of using the vacuum dryers from new multifab engineers are higher thermal efficiency, clean and closed operation, no thermal degradation of sensitive material, improved product quality and solvent recovery possibilities. Pilot plant facility is available for deciding the type of dryer and fixing parameters for engineering design.
