| Nelster welcon manufactures test terminal blocks. Such a test terminal block[ttbs], is used for testing/ calibration of electromechanical and electronic polyphase-integrated meters, protective relays, etc. It is tested, without disrupting the existing load circuit. A test terminal block, is housed in a high-grade phenolic moulding with integrally moulded barriers. It offers protection against flashover between terminals. All terminals, made of high quality brass, are duly nickel-plated, and they, have 3.40 mm hole for cable entry and m3 screws for clamping. M4 brass studs with washers and nuts are provided at the rear, in rear connection types. Sealing hole, provided on the cover-securing knobs and studs, prevents unauthorised access. Each group of current terminals, comprises of three terminals, with interconnecting screws or links, for injecting current from a portable test set or to short circuit current transformer secondaries. These highly efficient test terminal blocks [ttbs], are available in screw or link type, for front or back connected applications. Properties: facilitates in-situ testing; compact design and construction; extended transparent cover [optional]; choice of front or rear connection; and rating - 500 v, 15 a.
