| Series 3262 vcxos is offered by mf electronics . Some of the technical features of these frequency converters are as follows: are super-low-jitter vcxos for up-converting to the ghz frequency range of atm, sonet; gigabit ethernet, and high speed backplane applications;vcxos provide frequency reference signals to 175 mhz, while holding jitter below 20 picoseconds pk-pk;achieve low jitter from 3 mhz to 44.736 mhz using regular crystals. From 44.736 mhz to 175 mhz, the oscillators operate sophisticated inverted mesa crystals at their natural resonant frequency. Ordinarily, frequency multiplier asics are used--at the penalty of introducing jitter--to produce such high [175 mhz] frequencies. Following are some of the electrical features which include: new oscillators operate from 5 v dc supplies, and are compatible with hcmos logic families; provide minimum 1100 ppm and 1200 ppm maximum pull, for a 0.5 v-4.5 v control voltage range; centre frequency occurs at 2.5 v. Waveform symmetry is better than 45/55, rise time above 35 mhz is 2 nanoseconds. The vcxos accept tristate logic inputs for ate board and system test. An internal 0.1 f bypass capacitor suppresses power line transients, sharpens the output waveform and enhances triggering precision. The 3262 vcxos are available in full size [m3262] and half size [h32623] stainless steel dil packages. Optionally, for surface mount applications a gull wing version [h3262g] is available.
