Mekaster tools provides various types of torque wrenches including mechanical torque wrenches [up to 2700 nm] and hydraulic torque wrenches [up to 38,000 nm]. The company has now introduced a new range of elec- tronic torque wrenches to supplement their existing range. These digital torque wrenches are accurate to l percent of the read- ing with seven selectable units [si, metric and imperial] and three methods of operations [trac, preset, peak]. These torque wrenches have additional features such as backlit large lphanumeric display, overload protection with audible/visual alarms and signals, automatic zero point setting, recharge- able batteries, etc. There is also torque counter, which allows user to specify number of torque measurement that can be taken before recalibration is required so as to meet the iso 6789 - 2003 requirement of recalibration within 10,000 cycles. These torque wrenches are available from 2 to 340 nm [ 1.4 to 250 ib.Ft] in four different capacities with built-in ratchet heads in standard and programmable models.
