Light Weight Portable Magnetic Yoke generates high intensity magnetic field between the poles when placed over a ferro-magnetic component. Light Weight Portable Magnetic Yoke operates on 230V, 50 cycles AC supply or 24V DC power pack or 24V battery. It is very much useful for the detection of surface and near surface cracks during maintenance overhaul of all types of machinery in general and for cross detection of cracks in welds and castings. This yoke is operable by one person and dry magnetic powders or the wet magnetic bath of the day light or fluorescent type may be used as desired.
