| Integrated drive systems [ids] has entered into a partnership with cmz, italy, for providing total motion-control solutions for various applications. One of the major products is fct241, which is a black box motion controller equipped with a powerpc microprocessor, and programmable according to the standard iec61131. Salient features: up to 40 axes motion control [real time] via canopen; communication ports - rs232, ethernet; fieldbus on board - 2 can ports; optional fieldbus - profibus-dp slave; memory mass - compact flash; dynamic ram - 32 mbytes; flash eprom - 32 mbytes; and static ram - 128 kbytes. The system is master canopen and it is based on the real-time operating system os [precise mqx] with drivers developed by cmz. With the iec61131 approach it is possible for the customer/user the development of own libraries. Cmz has developed a wide range of libraries for the classic axes movement function like: cut to length, electronic cams, multi level interpolation, flowpack, shift and capture, cnc, rp, hydraulic axes, communication, file management, temperature control, weight control and libraries dedicated to the realisation of whole machine.
