Twin screw:-these gives high output, a high specific output always means high materials throughout at low screw speeds. This results in low shear stresses, gentle plasticizing & low screw wear.
Vented screw:-it is best suitable for compounds and masterbatches. The screw is designed for maximum efficiency and maximum mixing in conveying of the material with negligible heat. It is used for degassing of moisture and volatile through vent.
