| Modimaz engineers manufactures maxitorq electromagnetic clutches. These electromagnetic clutches are used to transmit rotary drive to a parallel shaft through free running hub, belts, sprockets or gears upon coil energisation by dc power and for coupling two inline shafts. There are two basic types of the electromagnetic clutches available with modimaz engineers: the flange mounted which is supplied loose and the bearing mounted type, which is factory fitted and aligned and thus easy to fit. These are supplied with three mounting options so as to facilitate mounting on a shaft or to be fitted directly with a pulley, sprocket etc. Salient design features of the electromagnetic clutches available with modimaz engineers: versatile - can be mounted in any position, simple installations, suitable for split or through shaft applications; durable - high torque, durable and temperature stable friction lining; stable - epoxy resin bonded vibration proof coil, zero backlash armature with finger spring release; and fast - high operating frequency, low inertia, fast and uniform response time. Typical applications of the electromagnetic clutches manufactured by modimaz engineers are in packaging, winding, textile, printing and other machines, material handling equipment and several other applications.
