| Membrane india has introduced high performance isha mill [impact, shear, attrition] for grinding and drying simultaneously. The unique principle of grinding and drying is based on generating and developing three kinetic energies, ie, impact, shear and attrition in one system, which further gives rise to two functions in one machine. Impact energy is developed due to high speed of rotor elements in the mill and the shear energy is developed due to liner and rotor blades and the attrition energy is developed due to high intake of air [centrifugal force]. By in-taking hot air at the required temperature, the isha mill is made useful for drying and grinding of many items of various physical and chemical properties. The products like minerals, chemicals, organic and inorganic salts and compounds of moh-4 hardness can be micronised as fine as less than 2 microns [0.001 mm] by this mill. Isha mill can take mixed inert gases and air to grind highly inflammable and heat sensitive products like sulphur, chemicals, etc. Thermoplastic products like pvc, and ldpe can also be ground on this mill at a low temperature. It is a multi-purpose system designed with french know-how. These mills are available in different models according to capacity. It finds applications in industries like agro/foodstuffs, plastics, elastomers, chemical, and mineral.
