Genicount-m is a multichannel six-digit totalizing counter. This totalizing counter is used for applications where a shift-wise/batch-wise continuous production monitoring is essential. Using latest cmos technology, this shift counter is manufactured and offers up to ten independent channels for different shifts/batches in a day. Following are some of the technical features of this multi-shift counter which include: desired shift is selectable by means of a thumbwheel switch provided on the panel. Onboard battery backed memory ensures that production contents for all ten channels are retained in the memory during power failure. The counter state of the selected channel prior to power failure is loaded into the display by pressing a read switch, when power resumes. The counter is housed in a din sized enclosure with an attractive front panel. With a suitable arrangement of a slotted metal disc and a proximity sensor, this multi- shift counter is applicable in textile and other industries.
