Ell ess engg has introduced water filters. These filters have simple and cost effective design offering substantial advantages over other existing devices. The filter housing is accurately constructed from high grade steel, whereas the filter element is all metallic non-clog type. Inlet and outlet of the filter is maintained on the same axis offers easy installation of the filter. Water flows from inside to outside with respect to the filter element retaining the solid/dirt particles on the inner surface of the element. Cleaning of this surface is done by using nylon brush mechanism either motorised or operated manually. Slurry after washing is drained through an exhaust valve. General specifications are as follows:
- filtration degree: up to 50 microns;
- flow rate: up to 700 m3/hr;
- maximum operating pressure: 10.0 kg/cm2g ; and
- material of construction: filter housing in cs, ss304, 304l, 316, 316l;

These filters include advantages like easy to install in-line filters; excellent cleaning of filtration surface using brush mechanism; least requirement of cleaning fluid; long life for filter element due to non-clog type; and low pressure drop even at higher flow rates.
